Partner programme
Last updated 25 October 2026
Who can apply
The programme is for GetOnIt customers aged 18 or over who have a plan with us. There are two tracks with the same rewards: creators, who promote GetOnIt to their audience on social media, and campus ambassadors, students who tell people at their university. Apply from the Partner page in your account with your contact details and either your social media accounts (creators) or your university (campus ambassadors). We review every application by hand, including any public social media you give us, and may accept or decline it at our discretion. We tell you our decision by email.
Your link
If accepted, you get a personal link, getonit.mobi/yourname, a share code (for example JOINYOURNAME), and a Partner page in your account with your link, code, a media kit and these rules. We choose the link and code names with you; we may refuse or change a name that is misleading, offensive, or looks like it comes from GetOnIt or someone else.
New customers who join through your link, or with your share code, get £5 off their first month on any plan, taken off at checkout. After that their plan carries on at its normal price unless they cancel. It is for people who have not had a GetOnIt plan before, each person can only use one code, and it cannot be combined with a friend's invite discount. There is no limit on how many people can use your code. Your Partner page shows what your code gives; we may change the offer for new sign-ups, and people who have already joined keep what they signed up for.
Some share codes made before 25 October 2026 give £5 of account credit (added once the first payment goes through, off the next renewal) or 1 month free, with 25 places per round. They work as they did until we move them to the offer above.
Points
You get 10 points for each new customer who joins through your link or code while you are a partner, worth £5 in gift cards. Points are added as soon as that customer's first payment (the first time they are charged) goes through. Sign-ups who cancel before paying earn nothing. If that payment is refunded, the points are taken back; if you have already swapped them, the shortfall comes off your next points.
Sign-ups through your link or code earn points, not account credit. Your own personal invite code is separate and works like anyone else's. Points are not money, cannot be exchanged for cash or account credit, and cannot be transferred.
Gift cards
Swap points for Amazon.co.uk gift cards from your Partner page:
- 40 points: £20 gift card
- 100 points: £50 gift card
- 200 points: £100 gift card
- 400 points: £200 gift card
The points leave your balance when you ask. We buy the gift card and a member of our team emails it to the address on your account, normally within five working days. Amazon's own gift card terms apply to the card. If we cannot send a gift card, we cancel the request, return the points and tell you why.
Gift cards are a reward for promoting GetOnIt. You are responsible for any tax on them. If you are in any doubt, ask HMRC or an adviser.
Labelling your posts
Because you are rewarded for sign-ups, UK advertising rules (the CAP Code, enforced by the Advertising Standards Authority) treat your posts about GetOnIt as adverts. Every post, story, reel or video that mentions GetOnIt or includes your link must be clearly labelled as an ad, with "#ad" or "Ad" at the start, before any "more" cut-off, and on every story frame. Use the platform's paid-partnership label where there is one.
On campus
Campus ambassadors also agree to:
- Get permission from their students' union or university before running a stall, handing out flyers on campus or putting up posters, and follow its rules.
- Never say or suggest that GetOnIt is endorsed by their university, or use its name or logo.
- Share in group chats and societies only where promotion is allowed, and say they are a GetOnIt ambassador.
- Never collect other people's personal details for GetOnIt. People sign up themselves, with your link or code.
What partners must not do
- Say anything untrue or misleading about GetOnIt, our prices, plans, coverage or offers.
- Say or suggest that you work for GetOnIt, or offer to help people with their GetOnIt account.
- Spam: unsolicited messages, comments on strangers' posts, or posting where promotion is not allowed.
- Run paid search ads, or bid on "GetOnIt" or similar words.
- Post your link or code on voucher, coupon or cashback sites.
- Aim posts at people under 18.
- Sign yourself up, create accounts, or pay or reward people to sign up.
- Change our prices, logo or offer in our graphics.
Our partner guidelines, on your Partner page and in the media kit, explain these in more detail.
Our brand
While you are a partner, you may use the GetOnIt name, logo and the graphics in the media kit to promote GetOnIt under these terms. You keep the rights to what you create; you agree that we may share or link to your public posts about GetOnIt, with credit to you.
Ending a partnership
You can stop at any time by telling us. We may end a partnership at any time, and will tell you why. We may cancel pending points, or points that came from breaking these rules. When a partnership ends, your link stops giving a discount, and you have 90 days to swap any points you have left. Points are lost if you close your GetOnIt account.
Changes
We may change or end the programme, including the points and the gift cards on offer. If we do, we will say so on this page and email partners. Points you have already earned stay yours to swap on the terms that applied when you earned them.
These terms sit alongside our terms of service and the invite a friend terms. Questions? Ask in the help chat, or open a ticket from your account.
